Already recognized for his inspirational ballads, Wayne Burton has expanded his musical styles to include a fresh current sound. His songs have won international recognition including Awards of Merit in the general Church Music Submission for "When the Day is Done" and " The Gift He Gave". Performance highlights range from gatherings with a handful of people to a solo performance on one of the 2002 Winter Olympics stages. While he has contributed to other projects, his personal album discography includes "Closer to Heaven", "The Quest" and "Becoming". Wayne's "other career" as a family doctor keeps him busy, but he still tries to write and perform as much as work, church and family life will allow. After several years in Utah, Wayne and his family moved back home to Alberta, Canada. |
